I love Hotel Maya, they just need to reevaluate some of the staff members, especially when it comes to being courteous to people who spend thousands of dollars to get married there! We also heard a consistent compliment about our bartender from our guests: he was quick! Hotel Maya is definitely a hidden paradise and what we loved about it was that we felt like we were on an tropical island somewhere instead of a few miles away from home. My only complaint is that the captain for our reception room turned up the lights as soon as our DJ stopped playing music at 11 pm and started to encourage my guests to leave the room even though we had booked the room until midnight.
